Professor of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona.
He teaches Political Philosophy and Contemporary Philosophy in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
He has published a dozen books. With the latter, The Intimate Resistance (2015), The Penultimate Goodness (2018), and Human, more Human (2021), he articulates an original philosophical proposal (a philosophical anthropology that can be called 'philosophy of proximity'). These works are also being translated and published in English, Italian, Portuguese, and German.
He is principal investigator of Aporía (research group in Contemporary Philosophy, Ethics and Politics). One of whose main lines of research is the relationship between philosophy and psychiatry.
