First of all, I would like to highlight my academic training, as I am a graduate in Hispanic Philology, Classical Philology and Romance Philology, as well as a doctor in Classical Philology, in the specific area of Latin Philology. In addition, it should be added the large number of specialisation courses, as well as practices that I have carried out in archives and libraries that complete my training, such as my stay in Rome, during which I investigated in the Vatican Secret Archives a large volume of medieval documentation for my thesis and the article 'Lope de Barrientos: promotor del linaje Barrientos de Cuenca'. A fundamental complement to my training has been those spent in prestige centres abroad, in particular those at Harvard University, Oxford University and the Universitat 'La Sapienza' in Rome.
I would also like to highlight the prizes received for my academic and research work, which are the first 'Premio de Tesis doctoral', awarded by the Sociedad de Estudios Latinos for the best thesis of the course 2009/2010 of the area of Latin Philology, and the 'Premio extraordinario de licenciatura' for my studies of Romance Philology at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid.
With regard to my research production, I have a number of publications in the international arena: I would like to highlight the 'Revisión de una manuscrito de Lucrecio: Savignano sul Rubicone, Bibl.Accad.68', published in a French magazine of great prestige and dissemination; the work 'La presencia del Liber de proprietatibus rerum de Bartolomé Ánglico en la Clauis sapientiae de Lope de Barrientos', published by the Parisian publishing house Honoré Champion in the collective volume Encyclopédie médiévale et langues européennes, which has become a reference volume for the study of medieval encyclopedism, as it has brought together the most important scholars on this subject; also around encyclopedism I published 'El enciclopedismo medieval Hispánico: Clauis sapientiae de Lope de Barrientos' in Estudios de latín medieval in Edizioni del Galluzo in Italy; finally I want to point out the work 'The 'Ghost' in the Magic Treatises by Lope de Barrientos' included in Visitors from the Grave: Ghosts in World Literature, published by Universidade da Porto. Of course, many of these works are derived from my doctoral thesis, which is a critical edition of the only complete medieval encyclopedia written in Spain: Edición crítica y comentario de Clavis sapientiae: la llave del saber de Lope de Barrientos en la Edad Media española.
Today, I collaborate in a research project within the 'Islamolatina' group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; my contribution is focused on editing a work of religious controversy, De christiana religione, written by one of the most powerful men during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs, Diego Ramírez de Villaescusa. From this work there is a press article for the magazine RELat, 'Diego Ramírez de Villaescusa y su De christiana religione'.
In terms of teaching experience: during courses 2017/18 and 2018/19, I taught the subject of 'Spanish Literature' at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra; since 2019/20 I have been Associate Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Universitat de Barcelona, imparting the subjects of 'Classical Culture' I and II in the first, and 'Latin I' in the second. In 2021/22 I concurred by imparting the same subjects, plus that of 'Classical tradition in European literature' in the UAB and 'Fonts for the Study and Civilization of Rome' in the UB.
To conclude, I would like to stress that I have the Research Accreditation awarded by the AQU in April 2022; since 2015 the Lector Accreditation awarded by the AQU. And since 2021 I have the ANECA accreditations of 'Profesor contratado doctor', 'Profesor ayudante doctor' and 'Profesor ayudante doctor'.
