The teaching areas where I focus my activity are: drawing and anatomy, comparative animal anatomy, scientific illustration, paleoillustration and creative anatomy applied to the arts. Also drawing from life, technical drawing and creative processes linked to drawing and finally, the training of drawing teachers.
The teaching activity that I have carried out since 2000 has been carried out in the following areas: the training of teachers of secondary school, baccalaureate and artistic training cycles in the last 11 years; in the field of primary teacher training in 2012; in the field of ESO, scientific, humanistic and artistic Baccalaureate, for 7 years; and the artistic CFGS in 2010. I have also taken external training courses for primary school teachers, and I have coordinated and carried out the preparation courses for the entrance exams to the CFGS and Fine Arts for 6 years in a private center. So I have also carried out tutorials of TFM, TDR and students in internships from the CFGS.
With this experience described, during these years, I have been outlining ideal learning processes in each of these areas, which provides me with a privileged vision of the teaching trajectory that spans from primary education to university, through all the moments of student development. The fact of being sub-coordinator of the Drawing subject at the PAU in the years 2017 to 2023, also enriches this broad vision of the drawing learning path. I am currently also coordinator of the subject of Graphic Plastic Expression Techniques of the PAU.
I must highlight the teaching versatility that this experience has given me, since the subjects taught during the last 24 years belong to the areas of painting, drawing, technical drawing and design. All this makes me currently interested in establishing and reinforcing the possible transversal lines of connection between various subjects, specifically anatomy drawing, animal and comparative anatomy, technical drawing and its possible creative and scientific applications.
