Adjunct Lecturer of the Department of Visual Arts and Design of the University of Barcelona. He has a heterogeneous background in academic research, as an artist and as a printmaker, and has sought to integrate the three activities in his work. With respect to research, his PhD thesis related 19th century mass print, as a prehistory of our digital culture, with internet images, and was at the same time an artistic experiment on reproduction. He has an extensive experience as a printmaker. This has led him to solve many different artistic approaches, incorporating both industrial processes in artistic applications and interdisciplinary artistic procedures in graphics. His art practice is focused on reworking images and creative processes trying to alter their functions. He is interested in how reproduction interferes in the meaning and diffusion of art, assuming that reproduction itself is a creative process. He works with printing, drawing, painting, video and image collections- info
