My research focuses on comparative social policy, individuals in families and social change, with emphasis on the work-life balance; the relationship between formal and informal work; and professional developments in care work and care services, particularly in childcare. More recently, and within the framework of the Research Group EPP, she is also studying happiness throughout the life course in a perspective of more sustainable societies.
Founder member of the International Network on Leave Policies and Research (LP&R) (www.leavenetwork.org), a research network gathering more than seventy researchers from 43 countries.
