I am an inherently multidisciplinary social scientists working at the interface of food, urban studies and rural development. My career is characterized by a strong commitment to developing research that addresses key societal challenges and has an international impact on academic and policy arenas. I have worked in Spanish and UK institutions, conducted field work in European and Latin American countries and visited highly reputable food research centers around the world. I have developed a strong network of internationally renowned scholars and practitioners that results in exciting research projects, high impact publications and my participation in multiple academic and non-academic forums
