Dr. Manel López (PhD in Physics, University of Barcelona, 2000). Associate Professor at UB since 2007. His design and development research activity is devoted to the Hardware system electronics designs, embedded software and communications. In these fields, he has mainly worked in the field of sensor networks and embedded systems. On the other hand, his fundamental research is focused in the fabrication and characterization of transparent nanostructured metallic oxide sensors. He had participated in the Spanish section of the E.S.A. Solar Orbiter for the development of high-integrated PCB design. He was Co-IP of the Spanish funded Project "Development of new detectors for future colliders in particles physics". Dr. López was the P.I. for the University of Barcelona of the European Project Real Time Monitoring of the Sea Contaminants by an autonomous Lab-on-a-chip Biosensor (7th Frame Program, 614168). Nowadays he is participating in the CHIPSCOPE European project: Overcoming the Limits of Diffraction with Super-Resolution Lighting on a Chip (H2020 Program, 737089)- info
