I'm a Doctor in Law and a Law Professor of Labour Law and Social Security of the University of Barcelona, Arbitrator for the Labour Court of Catalonia and Arbitrator for the Commission of Collective Agreement of the Labour Relations Council of Catalonia.
I'm a member of the Scientific Committee of the electronic magazine of the Right of Labour and Social Security IusLABOR (Universidad Pompeu Fabra) (http://www.upf.edu/iuslabor/).
I have been Secretary General of the Council of Labor Relations of Catalonia from its Constitution in the month of November 2007 until February 2011, and councelor of the Catalan Labour, Economic and Social Council (CTESC) in quality of expert of renown (2005-2007), and before in representation of the Government of Catalonia (2004-2005).
I have been arbitrating disputes related to union elections for the province of Barcelona (May 2005-October 2007) having dictated a total of 39 awards.
I'm author and co-author of nine monographies and two legislatives repertoires. I have coordinated three books, I've published 31 chapters in books of prestige, and 22 articles in specialized magazines of Labour Law and Social Security.
I also participate and have investments in nine projects and/or research contracts, the majority of which have developed within the framework of convocatorias public grants, and I've participated in more than 50 sessions and congresses about Labour Law and Social Security.
I have received a Fulbright scholarship and I've been a visitor professor in the Institute of Industrial Relations at the University of California at Berkeley in 2001 (6 months).
Finally, I teach subjects regarding Labour Law and Social Security regularly and continuously from 1994 in Masters, Postgraduates and Degrees organized by the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1994-1995), Pompeu Fabra University (1996-2003) and the University of Barcelona (2004-until now).
