My academic activity began 1983, when I joined first as a Researcher Fellow of the Ministry of Education (Grant FPI) and then as Assistant Professor the research group led by Prof. Ferran Badosa Coll at the Department of Civil Law of the University of Barcelona.
I was qualified as a Full Professor in 2005 and, since 2007, I am Full Professor of the Private Law Department at the University of Barcelona. My academic career has been dedicated since its inception to the teaching, research and training, also in foreign universities (German and American, such as the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe Universität of Frankfurt/Main and the Columbia Law School of New York). My research career is endorsed by the official recognition of five 'sexennis' of investigation by the National Evaluation Commission (CNEAI) of the Ministry of Education and Universities (1991-97 / 1998-2003, 2004-2009, 2010-2015 and 2016-2021, recognized respectively by Resolutions CNEAI of October 18, 1998 May 31, 2004 October 25, 2010, Juin 13, 2016 and Mai 3, 2022).
I have published three monographies, more than twenty articles and around fifty book chapters on Civil Law and some cross-cutting issues. Nowadays I have thirty six years of experience teaching different subjects of Civil Law and I have trained six full promotions of law students from the first till the last year of their career. Attend students' progress remains today one of the most satisfying experiences of my college life.
