University Professor.
I started my research and academic activity in 1991, the same year that I joined the Department of Administrative Law and Procedural Law at the University of Barcelona under the direction of Professor José Luis Vázquez Sotelo (Professor of Procedural Law).
My specialization in the field of Procedural Law has focused primarily on the study of criminal proceedings, although I also spent part of my research on the study of several matters of the civil process, such as the jurisdiction, the preliminary proceedings, enforcement and arbitration.
- I am the author of two monographs, as well as several book chapters and more than forty scientific articles published in different journals, in addition to several collaborations on newspapers.
- As a teacher I accumulated till now an experience of twenty four years, what has allowed me to give all the core subjects belonging to Procedural Law (Introduction to Procedural Law, Civil Procedural Law and Criminal Procedural Law).
Over the years I have also taught Doctoral courses and Practicums concerning various matters of the Criminal Procedure (Instruction, imputation, etc.) as well as teaching in the Master of Criminology and Criminal Security Policy (2011/2012 and 2012/2013 courses).
-I am tutor of Bachelor's Degree Final Projects in Law and Criminology in research lines belonging to criminal proceedings.
-I have also been tutor of different subjects relating to the field of Procedural Law in the National Distance Education University (UNED) in Barcelona from the course 2000/2001 to 2004/2005.
